Colin Andrew Firth is an English Actor. His films have grossed over $3 Billion worldwide from 42 movies. His most acclaimed role is that of King George VI in 2010's The King's Speech which earned him an Oscar.

He started his acting career in the early 80's, but wasn't given widespread attention until he landed a role in his portrayal of Mr.Darcy in the 1995's television adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. He acquired several roles in The English Patient, Mamma Mia!Bridget Jones's Diary (for which Firth was nominated for a BAFTA), Shakespeare in Love, and Love Actually. In 2009, Firth received widespread critical acclaim for his leading role in A Single Man, for which Firth gained his first Academy Award nomination, and won a BAFTA Award. Firth starred in the action spy movie Kingsman: The Secret Service as Harry Hart in 2014, which was a commercial success and received generally positive reviews. Firth reprised his role as Harry Hart in the 2017 film sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
